Working out of his studio on the Suffolk coast, UK artist Peter Williams expresses himself using a broad spectrum of media including photo realistic pencil work, however he is best known for lively and dramatic watercolours. Blending diffused colour with confident composition and intricate detail he achieves a unique vibrancy unequalled by many other watercolourists. Entirely self taught he gains inspiration from his immense interest in the great outdoors, wildlife and particularly horses. Along with portraiture his eclectic portfolio is packed with interest, attracting collectors worldwide. Examples of his work have been published in several watercolour workshop books and magazines in the UK.
