I live in Yorkshire with my husband. I have an interest in all wildlife, but in particular birds. I particularly enjoy watching waders and gulls, and regularly conduct ornithological survey work that takes me to out of the way places. I have always been interested in crafts, and will try most mediums, but I spend most time sewing. This is the first piece I have designed and sewn myself, based on a Greenshank seen whilst on a bird watching holiday in the Gambia.
