Born in Kent but now living in the Midlands, studied at Rochester School of Art but did not pursue for lack of funds. Went into a business career and travelled widely. Main interests were flying (PPL), motor cars and travel.

Married to a Malaysian and have spent a lot of time in Malaysia (Sabah Borneo) and Far East. 18 months ago decided to focus on painting and travelling. Much of work is focused on wildlife (disappearing fast!) and scenery of north Borneo but also do local landscapes and still life. Work is mainly in oils of a realistic type on large canvasses.
