David Cook studied art and photography at the Medway College of Art and Regent Street Polytechnic. Assisting famous artists and photographers while at Country Life magazine and working as a research and scientific photographer influenced his design and realistic, detailed, approach to art. Examples - including paper sculpture and papercuts - are in collections worldwide.

David has given workshops in America, Britain, Canada and Japan. He's written articles, a book and made videos on art techniques. For many years David has exhibited at The Mall Galleries with various societies. Conservation has benefited from his art and prints, via auctions and donations.
