Freelance painter and illustrator, a member of the Association of the Czech Republic Fine Artists. Collaborates with theatres, musicians, museums and also produces commercial design. Illustrates children stories, adult books, magazines, but in his paintings concentrates primarily on themes from nature. He has produced illustrations for about fifty publications in the Czech Republic, across Europe, Colombia, Venezuela and elsewhere.

Since 1992 he has visited South America where he devoted his time to paintings of animals in their natural habitat. His work in this natural environment is unique for his emphasis on authencity and exact documentative quality.
