Currently residing in Ireland, Paul James, fine artist, pianist and composer grew up in Leicestershire, England. He lived for a number of years on his narrow boat working from his onboard studio travelling the waterways of Britain, where he gained much inspiration for his work. Paul's style is realism working to a high degree of finish, primarily in acrylics on canvas or panel. As an innovator of progressive ideas he gives many of his contemporary animal pieces a humorous touch whilst others have an edgier urban theme. He is also renowned for his atmospheric landscapes.
