Jan Morgan is aiming to create bronze sculpture that can be understood in a very direct way. Narrative is very important to him, showing a moment in time. The drama of being chased or leaping through the air provides us with a snapshot in their lives. Believable fluid works are underpinned by a strong understanding of anatomy executed in both a detailed and loose style. Jan became a sculptor after a career as a freelance toy designer. He studied product design at Bristol University and later moved on to freelance toy design. His work is a reflection of his love for animals and a desire to take wildlife sculpture in a new direction.
