John Butterworth is a graduate of Winchester and Chelsea Schools of Art with BA and MA degrees. John has maintained a career as a professional artist, receiving critical acclaim for his innovative painting styles. Before 2005 John's work was of an abstract nature, but a life changing experience has since inspired John to paint more representational subjects. These include portraits of people and impressions from the natural world, including wildlife subjects. Some of John's recent successes have been a solo exhibition at Maurice Sedwell's in Savile Row, the inaugural DSWF exhibition in 2008 and the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2009.
