I began painting in my early teens with a small oil painting set given as a Christmas present. In 1975 I took a year foundation course at Chelsea School of Art. At the end of which I took a year out working. The year out lasted until 2009! The urge to paint had never gone away and I started painting again and realised how much I was enjoying it. I am fascinated by sea birds and the way they seem to fly just for fun. My enthusiasm is growing all the time and I hope that this is visible in my work. I exhibited at the Brighton Art Fair in 2009.
